Summary[edit]

Description Looking East from the lift bridge on Cherry Street in Toronto's Portlands. On the left, the old coal fired Hearn Generating station, past that the new gas fired Portlands Power Complex, and in the distance the stacks of the eastern Sewage Works. Way in the distance, The Beach, In the foreground, crud floating on the water after a huge rain storm the previous day. To the right, under black tarps, a huge supply of road salt for next winter.
