Summary[edit]

Description
English: Pioneer Indoor Swimming Pool and Stadium, Kharkov, Ukraine, in 2008. Original photo - 8,14 mb.

Kharkov pool "Pioneer", followed by the stadium "Pioneer". View from the mark of +90 m. The HVVKIURV building (now the Institute of Air Force) is behind them, Dinamovskaya Street is on the left, Sumskaya Street is perpendicular to the right. On the horizon Zhuravlevka, behind it - Saltovka (white high-rise buildings across the Kharkov River). On the right is a 25-storey residential building "Avantage" (built in 2007) on ul. Trinklera, right-to the left is Gorky Park, on the left in front of the park on the edge of the football field of the Zvezda Stadium.

Flying object over Kharkov: In the upper left corner of the picture there is a kind of a gray flying flying shiny or unabused "oblate ball" rather big, based on the distance, the size at least 85 meters above the ground against the background of the building on the Sumy before the FED plant. This is definitely not a balloon (and a big one for this), flying meteo-probes over the city is strictly prohibited. What could it be? --Vizu

Dear Vizu, "shiny thing" - really "shiny thing" - decoration made of metal about the height of the floor and the length of a couple of window openings, hanging (and perhaps still hanging) on the same building, located near the "second tram circle" near TsPKiO them. Gorky (the so-called "backup ring"). The building is occupied by the YUZHGIPRONIIAVIAPROM institute, the “piece of iron” is visible on Google’s photography even in 2015 (https://goo.gl/maps/PRK8VuVym812). And she was there, as it were, not earlier than from the mid-1980s. So no UFOs! --Anonymous
--Vizu
