Description
English: The crater caused by the explosion of a fuel truck outside Khobar Towers on Tuesday, June 25, 1996, is visible at the top of this photograph of the facility taken from a nearby building on King Abdul Aziz Air Base near Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, on June 26, 1996. The dotted line running diagonally through the photo is the concrete barrier, sometimes known as a Jersey Wall, which is credited for deflecting the blast of the explosion upward and reducing its effect.
