Kilmacduagh Cathedral, County Galway, Ireland English: Panel with a crucifixion scene. According to James P. Hynes' short guide to Kilmacduagh, this is a very ancient reredos slab which was probably moved to the present location in the north transept during the 1879 restoration works. According to Hynes, there is a Latin inscription: DOMINOS NOSTER SANCTA MARIA I.N.R.I. MISERERE NOSTRI DOMINE MISERERE NOSTRI FIAT MISERICORDIA SUPER NOS. |
