Description
Español: Los textos que eran objeto de censura podían tratar temas nacionales o de otros contextos geográficos. En «La crisis del peronismo», el censor dejó claro que su publicación dependía de la aprobación del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, ya que «no hay libertad para atacar al gobierno de un país amigo de Colombia». Las actividades que realizaban fueron descritos por José Font Castro: «Había que ver llegar en la noche a los señores censores con su característica alevosía de carceleros. Había que verlos cumplir con un sectarismo que no podían disimular, su labor mutiladora: tachar y rechazar escritos consultando solo su caprichoso parecer, su absoluto arbitrio» («Dos mil noches de censura», El Tiempo, 18 de junio de 1954).
