Description fr photo prise au moment de la décrue en centre ville de Blendecques après l'inondation record de l'Aa (niveau record dépassé de 40 cm), début mars 2002. Au sommet du bassin versant et de la vallée de l'Aa (côté sud), sur les réserves naturelles du Plateau d'Helfaut, le zones humides sont presque sèches (fossés secs le long des routes qui les traversent)
