Deutsch: Production of national map, aerial photographs: Surveying aircraft in Dübendorf, camera and navigation telescope. Left: the Wild RC8 camera rotatably mounted on a plate, pictures are taken through an opening in the aircraft floor, black and white aerial films of 23 cm width and up to 100 m length were used. Top left: control unit; right: navigation telescope opens the view vertically downwards and allows to follow and control the flight line by means of elements marked on the map (houses, road crossings, forest corners, etc.). The distinction between photographs with and without an individual character is not always clear.
