The unmanned aerial vehicle dropped an autonomous payload... a Pelican Case with a servo controlled parachute, guided by GPS and accelerometers. Total cost of the autonomous payload was about $500 in parts. The payload was dropped from 10,000 feet, and was only off by a matter of feet.
