Description

Vue d'une partie du cimetière de la congrégation française de Berlin (Französischer Friedhof)

Les huguenots français exilés à Berlin et leurs descendants comptaient dans leurs rangs beaucoup de personnalités éminentes de la politique, des arts et des sciences qui jouèrent un rôle capital dans le développement culturel, économique et politique de la ville. C'est ce qui explique l'existence de ce cimetière où sont regroupées de nombreuses sépultures portant des noms d'origine française.

Ce cimetière n'est séparé que par un mur du cimetière de Dorotheenstadt dans lequel sont enterrés de nombreuses personnalités allemandes (voir les autres photographies).
