English: Wikipedia demonstration video of the Levitron brand levitating top device which partially explains its reliance upon the principle of spin stabilized magnetic levitation. A phenomenon discovered through invention in the 1970s by Roy M. Harrigan (for which he received a United States patent in 1983 #4,382,245).
Polski: Demonstracja Lewitronu, lewitującego bączka, którego działanie opiera się o lewitację magnetyczną stabilizowaną za pomocą efektu żyroskopowego. Zjawisko to odkrył pod koniec lat 70. XX wieku Roy M. Harrigan, a w 1983 roku został mu przyznany amerykański patent na urządzenie wykorzystujące to zjawisko.
