Press photo was discovered on E-bay. Front and back of image show no copyright notice or named author. Image was published April 8, 1955: "Her Interests Have Never Lagged on Job, or Elsewhere". The Birmingham News. Birmingham, Alabama. p. 14. Neither the masthead nor publishing data shows a copyright mark. As due diligence, checked the 1955 Catalog of Copyright Entries, Periodicals January-December and there are no entries for Birmingham News, nor was there anything filed at copyright.gov as a renewal.
