English: Lymington: Cross Boom beacon The beacons along either side of the navigable channel of Lymington River are named - this one is Cross Boom and is the next to last one, travelling downriver. The bird has just flown off from the top of the beacon, and we will see him a bit later as he prepares to land on 1217654, the last beacon and the only one actually marked on the map. |
