Description
English: A template to be used to create one or two-digit Missouri route shields.
{{{image alt}}} This SVG file is a generic template for creating new images. It contains embedded placeholder text using specific fonts that may not be available on Wikimedia Commons. This file is not intended to be embedded in a wiki page. Do not reupload this file with text converted to paths, even if the text appears unsightly in an image preview.
How to derive an image from this template
To create an image using this template:
  1. Download this SVG.
  2. Open the SVG in an SVG editor and change the wording and numbering.
  3. Convert all text to a path and save as a basic or plain SVG.
  4. Upload the new SVG to Wikimedia Commons.

Public domain This file is in the public domain because it comes from the Missouri Department of Transportation Engineering Policy Guide, sign number M1-5, which states specifically in the introduction to Chapter 900 that:
Any traffic control device design or application provision contained in [this Manual] shall be considered to be in the public domain. Traffic control devices contained in [this Manual] shall not be protected by a patent, trademark, or copyright, except for the Interstate Shield and any items owned by FHWA.
