Summary[edit]

Description

EPA divers have been mapping out abandoned and derelict fishing gear, to assist the mission of the NW Straits Commission to clean up Puget Sound.

Abandoned nets and crab pots harm creatures both large and small and remains to be a serious problem under the surface.

Our divers were in the water in March to continue helping with this critical Puget Sound Initiative.
