English: Pacific Star with BURMA clasp, WW2 Medal awarded to Gerald Rainsford Craddock, RNZAF. bronze medal; six-pointed star; ring suspension; with ribbon obverse- at centre the Royal cypher GRI with VI below; cypher surmounted by a crown superimposed on a circlet which bears the title of the star- THE PACIFIC STAR reverse- plain ribbon- dark green with red edges with yellow stripe, and thin stripes of dark blue and light blue (ribbon designed by King George VI - green and yellow symbolise the forests and beaches; the dark blue represents the Navy, the red the Army and the light blue the Air Force) unnamed

Notes Pacific Star with BURMA clasp, WW2 Medal awarded to Gerald Rainsford Craddock, RNZAF. service- served in Egypt and in the Pacific aircraft- served on Blenheim Mk II and Blenheim Mk IV Other- 1936-1939 worked at the Wellington Branch of the Union Bank of Australia. Collection of photograph albums, photographs, negatives and lantern slides held at the National Library, Wellington. Some of these relate to his WW2 service with the RAF. (PAColl-2137) Album 2 (1927-1965) including photos of India, Egypt and Libya taken circa 1940-1943 while he was serving with R.A.F. squadrons Album 3 (1940s)- from the time he travelled from New Zealand, via Melbourne and Perth, to serve with the Royal Air Force in the Far East and the Middle East Album 4 (1914-1919)- WW1 images Album 5- includes photographs taken on an air armada from Egypt to the Far East in January 1942 Album 8 (1940-43 - photo album - diary while serving in Ceylon, Middle East, Pakistan and Asia
