The aircraft is a retired McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C-23-MC Hornet (BuNo 163449). Nimitz, with assigned Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11), was deployed to the Western Pacific and the Indian Ocean from 1 June to 10 December 2017. |
