Title
Modern Toy Farm Animal
Description
English: Lead alloy toy animal. Hollow cast naturalistically modelled farm animal, probably a female goat. The feet and head are lost. The scale, at 1:32 or 54mm, the crisp execution, and the partially legible moulded maker's details on the belly of the beast, which reads [BRI]TAINS, confirms the manufacturer, which was a leading British toymaker. Suggested date: Modern, 1910-1940.

Length: 28.4mm, Height: 19.1mm, Width: 9.7mm, Thickness (of casting): 0.3mm, Weight (with trapped soil): 8.97gms
