Wie wir bereits in der letzten Nummer des „Rauchwarenmarkt“ berichteten, fand am Montag abend ein Empfang durch den Rat der Stadt Leipzig statt. Am Dienstag abend war besonders für die auswärtigen Gäste ein Besuch der Oper im Neuen Theater vorgesehen. Zur Aufführung gelangte die große Oper von Krenek „Das Leben des Orest“. Gleichzeitig war von den auswärtigen Staaten Canada, England, Niederlande, Österreich, Schweden, Finnland, Ungarn und U. S. A. zu einem Abendessen, gegeben zu Ehren des Herrn Präsident Paul Hollender, nach dem IPA-Hauptrestaurent eingeladen worden.
