| Description |
English: Norton Junction This is the site of the former railway station at Norton Junction, closed in the 1960s, viewed looking towards Worcester Shrub Hill station from the Woodbury Lane bridge. The crossover allows "down" trains from the single track line from Oxford to join the "down" line to Shrub Hill. Vaguely discernible in the distance are a pair of semaphore signals. There are plans to build a new Parkway railway station for Worcester somewhere in the vicinity of this old site. |
