al at least five days in advanceof the game and such selections if approved shall be final;changes can only be made with the consent of both teams,and the team neglecting to notify the other of its selectionshall forfeit its right to appoint an official. Sec. 2. The official of the home team and the official ofthe visiting team shall alternate: each serving one halfas referee and one half as umpire. The order in whichthey officiate to be mutually agreed upon or decided by thetoss of a coin. Sec. 3. In championships the chief official appointedby the championship committee shall select his staff ofreferees, umpires, timekeepers and scorers. RULE 8.Timekeepers. Section 1. The captains or managers of the opposingteams shall each appoint a timekeeper; the timekeepers ap-pointed shall sit together and shall use one watch whichshall constantly remain in view of both timekeepers.
