Original Caption[edit]
OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM -- Mississippi Air National Guardsmen Staff Sgt. Mitchell Sojourner (left) from the 72nd Aircraft Generation Squadron, and Master Sgt. John Carter from the 72nd Maintenance Squadron in Jackson, Miss., complete post-flight engine checks on a C-141B Starlifter at an operating location in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. The Starlifter fulfills the vast spectrum of airlift requirements through its ability to airlift combat forces and their equipment and drop them via air or land drop.
