Summary[edit]

Description

Welcome Witboi is now championing women’s rights in his community. He speaks with men about the root causes of violence and how it’s possible to change.

“Now that I know what it is to be a man, and that one man can make a difference, and that one man can walkaway from violence, can walkaway from abuse and not abuse other people, I had to now put that into practice.”

“That was the most difficult thing to do outside prison because the challenges were so huge and so powerful, that it challenged me every single day to do so.”

Background
