Der Ebay-Verkäufer „pero12205“ schreibt im März 2015 in seinem Angebot einer Ausgabe mit diesem Buchdeckel: „Der Umschlag stammt nicht vom Original. Es wurden vor ca. 30 Jahren die Restbogen bei der Tochter des Verfassers aufgekauft und vom CB-Verlag Carl Boldt mit neuem Umschlag aufgebunden.“ Diese Angabe wurde auf Nachfrage vom Verlag bestätigt. Auch die im Original im Buchdeckel eingeklebt Vignette war noch vorhanden und wurde, solange der Vorrat reichte, von Hand aufgeklebt.
