Summary[edit]

Description
English: During World War I, Paul M. Nash was a member of the Battery F, 324th Heavy Artillery, also known as the "High Efficiency Battery" which was made up exclusively of University men. He was stationed and saw fighting in Chateau Thierry, France. This photograph was sent by Nash to the Norwester, along with a letter assuring residents of Upper Arlington of his safety. Before going to France, P. M. Nash was also a salesman for The Upper Arlington Company, and he resumed this job when he returned from the war.
