Petition for grant of parcel, 1833-1840
Machado first requested the parcel in 1933. In 1940 he filed a second petition because the grant in 1933 was incomplete and had become disputed. Machado's petition for title was denied because the Higuera family presented a prior grant of title and right to possession dating back to 1821.; Original Spanish document: pages 101-106.
