Summary[edit]
DescriptionPioneer Zephyr meal service 1934.jpg | Photo illustrating how meals were served on the Pioneer Zephyr; similar to airline service. The flyer says "Meals from the grill are served upon tables set up at your chair."
Date | No date is shown on the brochure. This would need to be circa 1934 as it would be the last year of the Chicago World's Fair and the year the Pioneer Zephyr made its debut. Since die-cut items have always been expensive to produce, it would seem to be correct in that it was distributed as a 1934 World's Fair handout. Don't think the railroad continued producing these after the Fair because of the expense involved, and that it would have been warranted to make a good showing at the fair.
