[edit]DescriptionPlacid water on Lake Powell (8120751979).jpg |
On the way back to Kanab, UT after visiting Lower Antelope Canyon in Page, AZ, I decided to take the Cottonwood Canyon road - it cuts through northern AZ into southern Utah - very scenic road - I didn't have time to do it all since I was losing light but did at least half of it. It's a dirt road but was in passable condition. Lovely scenery most of the way - the main drawback is extensive power lines parallel the road almost the entire way making it hard to get good shoots. If you're in the Kanab/Page area, this is a worthy detour. I took these photos in October 2012. |
