Description
Nederlands: Plafondschildering in vijf delen met als hoofdvoorstelling Diana en haar gezellinnen, geschilderd voor de 'grote zaal' van Paleis Soestdijk. Na restauratie in 1983 bleek het ronde centrale stuk niet tot de originele plafondschildering te behoren noch van de hand van De Lairesse te zijn. De vier hoekelementen bevatten illusionistische architectuurelementen en reliëfs, waartussen de vrouwen met attributen van de jacht en putti zich bevinden. De binnenste ring met een klassiek reliëf met jachtscènes en een offerscène aan Diana wordt gedragen door kariatiden.
