Collection History: Between 1917 and 1923, the MAI mounted the Hendricks-Hodge Expedition to explore and excavate the historic Zuni village of Hawikku, one of the most extensive projects of its kind in the Southwest. Documentation of MAI expeditions and excavations often includes photographs of camp life and expedition members.
