Description
English: A knapped/worked flint probably dating to the Neolithic period.Circa 4000 BC-2700BC. The flint has a large bulb of percussion eminating from a broad platform. The dorsal face has numerous flake removals around what appears to be a natural flaw. A small amount of white cortex is evident to the sides. There is possibly some re-touch to one edge. The flint is a translucent grey/brown colour. Length of flint: 41.13 mm. Width: 35.61 mm. Thickness: 11.30 mm. Weight 15 grams.
