Summary[edit]

Description
Eesti: Skaneeriva elektronmikroskoobiga tehtud sekundaarsete elektronide pilt puidu spooni pinnast.
English: Image of a wood veneer surface taken with a scanning electron microscope using secondary electrons. To take the picture, the wood had to be first covered with a thin film of platinum, which made it electrically conductive. Helios Nanolab 600 (FEI Company) scanning electron microscope of the Film Technology Laboratory of the Institute of Physics of the University of Tartu was then used to visualize the invisible to the human eye microstructure of wood.
