Description
Deutsch: Diese Eisenbahnbrücke über die Salzach nahe Schwarzach/St. Veit, Land Salzburg, Österreich, wurde im Jahr 1908 erbaut. Sie besteht eigentlich aus zwei getrennten Brücken (für jedes Gleis eine), denen von der Gemeinde Schwarzach im Jahr 1989 ein Steg für Fußgänger und Radfahrer angebaut wurde. Die Brücke hat nun ihr Ablaufdatum erreicht und wird 2015-2016 in Etappen abgebaut und zerlegt und durch eine neue Brückenkonstruktion ersetzt.
English: This railway bridge near Schwarzach/St. Veit, Salzburg (state), Austria, was built in 1908. Actually the construction is divided in two parts, one for each track. In 1989 a footbridge was added to allow pedestrians and cyclists to cross the river Salzach. Now this ancient bridge is 106 years of age and it is necessary to replace it. Starting 2015 it will be dismantled in two stages and until 2016 replaced by a new construction.
