WILLIAM WARD ADAMSON. Born in Rockville, Indiana. Residence,Terra Haute, Indiana. State No. 307; National No. 18132. Son ofNathan and Phebe (Humphreys) Adamson; grandson of John Hum-phreys and Jane (Ward) Humphreys; great-grandson of James Ward,who was commissioned an ensign in the Virginia Militia under Colo-nel Andrew Lewis in August of 1763.
