Cymraeg: Y tu fewn i Gastell Dinas Emrys, Parc Cenedlaethol Eryri. Mae'n un o'r cynharaf o'r cestyll Cymreig. Saif i'r gorllewin o'r A498 rhwng Capel Curig a Beddgelert, tua milltir i'r gogledd-ddwyrain o'r pentref olaf. Mae Sieffre o Fynwy yn adrodd sut y bu i Fyrddin eu dangos i'r brenin Gwrtheyrn gan esbonio eu bod yn cynrychioli y Brythoniaid a'r Saeson yn eu gornest am sofraniaeth Ynys Prydain. Am unwaith mae Sieffre, sy'n ffugiwr heb ei ail, yn dilyn traddodiad Cymreig dilys a geir am y tro cyntaf yng ngwaith Nennius, yr Historia Brittonum (9g). Mae Nennius a Sieffre yn dweud bod y dreigiau'n cwffio dan bwll tanddaearol ac felly'n peri i'r castell roedd y brenin yn ceisio codi gwympo bob tro. Heddiw mae'r pwll yno o hyd.
English: Inside Dinas Emrys; Snowdonia National Park, Gwynedd, Wales. A Welsh Iron Age hillfort. Stone walls enclose an area of between 2.5 and 3 metres (8 and 10 ft) thick, which exploited every irregularity in the rocky hill-top, enclosing an irregular area of about a 10,000 m2 (110,000 sq ft).
