Deutsch: Unteres Altergemälde am südlichen Altar der Skapulierbruderschaft mit einem Bildnis der heiligen Laurentia. Folgende Inschrift befindet sich auf dem Gemälde (links oben):

Übersetzt: Laurentia, ruhe in Frieden im Jahr 148 XP.

Die heilige Laurentia gehört zu den 1722 und 1723 von Abt Dominikus Schwaninger aus den römischen Katakomben nach Roggenburg überführten Leichnamen von Märtyrern. Neben Laurentia gehörten noch Venantius, Valeria und Severina dazu, die an anderen Seitenaltären verehrt werden und die allesamt als wundertätig galten. English: Lower altar painting at the southern side altar of the scapular brotherhood, depicting Saint Laurentia. The inscription (upper left) reads:

Translated: Laurentia, rest in peace in the year 148 XP.

St. Laurentia belongs to the martyrs that were transfered in 1722 and 1723 by abbot Dominikus Schwaninger from the catacombs of Rome to Roggenburg.
