| Description | Das Romanunshaus in Leipzig, Kupferstich 1704 von Peter Schenk (1660 - 1718) nach einer Vorlage (Zeichnung? Vedute?) von Samuel Blättner (1674 - 1706). Der Weinhändler G. W. Richter erwarb das Haus 1770 von der Witwe des Erbauers und richtete im zweiten Obergeschoss ein Café vornehmen Stils ein. 1785 konnte Schiller dort die Bekanntschaft nahmhafter Literaten, Künstler und Verleger machen (Starke, Werner: Romanushaus. Leipzig: VEB Seemann 1976). |
