Description
Español: La desafectación de los terrenos, la prórroga de las concesiones o el estudio caso por caso, no son soluciones para el problema que plantea a cientos de empresas y miles de trabajadores la aplicación de la Ley de Costas. Por ello, el presidente del Partido Popular de Cantabria, Ignacio Diego, instó al Gobierno y al Partido Socialista a que "sean generosos con los cántabros y aporten la única solución que da garantía jurídica". Esa solución no es otra que aprobar en el Congreso de los Diputados la modificación de la citada ley que el PP ya ha promovido en el Senado.

En opinión de Diego, el Partido Popular ha conseguido en la Cámara Alta que se dé un paso "sustancial" para solucionar el problema por medio de una iniciativa que, subrayó, "abunda en seguridad jurídica" lo que, según añadió, "es un bien preciado en esta comunidad autónoma" dados los casos de paralización por expedientes judiciales.

El presidente de los populares cántabros lamentó que si bien el PP ha sido consciente desde hace cuatro años de un problema que "afecta a una sustancial parte de la actividad económica" regional, tanto el Gobierno de Cantabria como el de Zapatero "se han mantenido ajenos, han dado la espalda a los afectados por este problema".
