Description
English: A part of a building that was a warehouse in a substation of the former Japan National Railways in Kawasaki, Kanagawa that survived the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake (関東大地震, Kantō dai-jishin) and the Kawasaki Air Raid. Built in 1911, the building known as Akarenga Sōko (赤レンガ倉庫, Red Brick Warehouse), has restored what is left behind is now a part of the landscape and a memorial in the outer hallway of Muza Kawasaki Symphony Hall. Take notice of the still standing part is tilted due to the damage as a consequence of the previous event.
日本語: 神奈川県川崎市にある国鉄の倉庫であった建物の一部で、1923年の関東大震災と川崎空襲に耐えました。1911年に建てられた赤レンガ倉庫として知られる建物は、残されたものを復元し、現在は風景の一部であり、ミューザ川崎シンフォニーホールの外廊下の記念碑となっています。前の出来事の結果としての損傷のため、まだ立っている建物は傾いています。
