Description The Senate – a splendid example of neo-classical design, the Senate’s mustard yellow walls were masterminded by the renowned architect Matvey Kazakov, on the instructions of Catherine the Great. Famous as the location of Lenin's office after the October Revolution, today the Senate serves as the official Presidential residence.
