Description
Deutsch: Die Seglergemeinschaft Scharmützelsee e. V. Bad Saarow (SGS) ist der größte Seglerverein des Landes Brandenburg. Das Vereinsgelände befindet sich in „Dorf Saarow“, einem Wohnplatz von Bad Saarow im Landkreis Oder-Spree in Brandenburg. Das Vereinshaus (oben rechts im Bild) in der Regattastraße 1 ist denkmalgeschützt. Das reetgedeckte Fachwerkhaus liegt auf einer Anhöhe über dem Seglerhafen am Scharmützelsee. Das Doppelstubenhaus wurde um 1777/80 erbaut und gehörte zum Gut Saarow (heute: Eibenhof). Um 1900 wurde es vom Gärtner der Gemeinde bewohnt. 1927 erwarb der Yachtclub Berlin-Grünau das Grundstück als sein zweites Anwesen. Im Erdgeschoss wurden ein Schankraum und eine Küche eingebaut. Nach der Gründung der SG Bad Saarow-Pieskow im Jahr 1949 nutzten deren Wassersportler das Grundstück als ihr Domizil. Seit 1954 ist es im Besitz der SGS. Auf dem Gelände befindet sich zudem die Wasserrettungsstation Scharmützelsee der DLRG.
