Summary[edit]
English: Cut-out Kylchap exhaust exhibited in the Cité du Train in Mulhouse. Exhaust steam from the cylinders passes through the steam ejector, whose cross-section can be adjusted using the blue rod on the left. The vapour passes through a specially shaped nozzle, made up of four nozzles starting from a common base and whose cross-section is reminiscent of a four-leaf clover. Above this is another conical nozzle, known as "petticoats". |
