Summary[edit]

Description
English: 4501 University Way NE, University District, Seattle, Washington. Originally (1923) the Ives Building, from 1962 until 2002 the corner store housed Porter and Jensen Jewelers; for about a decade it was used book store Twice-Sold Tales; it then became a Chase bank.

For more information see Summary for 4523 University WAY / Parcel ID 881640-1115, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.

In the background Hotel Deca, originally Edmund Meany Hotel, then University Tower Hotel. Summary for 4507 Brooklyn AVE, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods unfortunately says very little about the building, while saying that it "appears to meet the criteria of the National Register of Historic Places... [and] Seattle Landmarks Preservation Ordinance".
