The 6-photo series shows bicycles as well as carriages. Mitchell, Lewis & Staver (founded 1882) still exists as of 2007, although they are now based in Wilsonville, Oregon rather than Portland, where they were based in 1900 according to Polk's Seattle City Directory 1899 (Polk's Seattle Directory Co., 1899), p. 690. |
