Description

D. M. FERRY & GO'S DESCRIPTIVE CATALOGUE. 49
PEAS, Extra Carly-Gontinued
GRADUS
AN EXTRA EARLY
WRINKLED PEA.
The vine of this most distinct sort is hke that of
Ferry's First and Best, except that it grows a httle
taller and matures its pods a httle later The nn
mense pods are as large as those of the Telephone,
uniformly well shaped and
handsome, and more attract
ive than those of other fii st
earlies. They ripen slowly and
continue fit for use much longei
than most varieties, making this
by far the most desirable sort
for the home garden. The peas
are very large, of splendid qual
ity and beautiful color which
they retain after cooking.
This variety is sometimes sold
as "Prosperity."
We have taken great pains
to secure true stock and have
it well grown, so we are sure
that every one who purchases
our seed will be pleased with the
variety.

Public domain

This work is in the public domain in its country of origin and other countries and areas where the copyright term is the author's life plus 70 years or fewer.

This tag is designed for use where there may be a need to assert that any enhancements (eg brightness, contrast, colour-matching, sharpening) are in themselves insufficiently creative to generate a new copyright. It can be used where it is unknown whether any enhancements have been made, as well as when the enhancements are clear but insufficient. For known raw unenhanced scans you can use an appropriate {{PD-old}} tag instead. For usage, see Commons:When to use the PD-scan tag.

Note: This tag applies to scans and photocopies only. For photographs of public domain originals taken from afar, {{PD-Art}} may be applicable. See Commons:When to use the PD-Art tag.
