Description
English: Presumed location of the Jeu de Paume de la Bouteille (between the rue de Seine and the rue Mazarine at its intersection with the rue Guénégaud) and the building present on that site in 1849. The Jeu de Paume de la Bouteille became the first home of the Paris Opera on 16 March 1671, the Guénégaud Theatre in 1673, and the first home of the Comédie-Française in 1680.
