Gentlemen :—We beg to reply to your favor of Nov. 16th. We have now had the SteelPlate Stack you erected for us in place for nearly a year. It is mounted on an exceptionallyhigh foundation, and has been subjected to the full strength of some pretty high winds andstorms. It has never shown any weakness, and has altogether thus far proved all that wasclaimed for it We take pleasure in commending your work. Gentlemen:—Replying to yours of the 15th inst, we take pleasure in stating that theSteel Plate Chimney which was constructed by you, and which has been in use for nine monthsor more, has given entire satisfaction.
