English: German Officer's dress sword and scabbard, c WW1 Two narrow double fullers on each side of the blade, 25 inches long. Metal basket hilt which folds back, marked with crowned eagle holding sceptre and sword. Metal guard and pommel. Wooden grip covered with fish skin, bound in grooves with steel wire and has initials R.W.2. and crown on top (William II crown). Blade has no inscription. scabbard- metal; has initials R.W.2 |
