Sutton.) 118 SYPHILIS Typical condylomata can be mistaken for no other disease, butwhen they are more or less fungous they may resemble venerealwarts. However, some typical lesions can usually be found, sothat the diagnosis should not be difficult in the vast majority ofinstances. The laboratory findings or other signs or symptomsof syphilis should serve to exclude the few doubtful cases whichdo resemble venereal warts.
