Description
English: A T-6A Texan II flies over Moton Field during the grand opening of the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site in Tuskegee, Ala., Oct. 11, 2008. Moton Field in the 1940s was the only primary flight training facility for the first African American pilot candidates in the Army Air Corps, these pilots are known as the Tuskegee Airmen.
