Dicynodon planus, from Beaufort West. Nearly perfect skeleton which probably belongs to this species but as the skull is rather imperfect there is some slight doubt of the determination. The skiill is much crushed and imperfect. The limbs and girdles are restored in as nearly the walking position as is practicable (^ natural size) nodons shown in the illustration, the skull was found about ten yards from the posterior part of the skeleton, and
